SWAP POT FAQs
FAQ
What is SWAP POT?

SWAP POT is a community platform where cannabis enthusiasts can connect to swap pot and find companionship. Think of it as a friendly, peer-to-peer network — like Craigslist or Tinder, but for cannabis lovers.

Is buying or selling allowed?

Nope — absolutely no buying or selling. SWAP POT is about swapping only. Members swap pot, seeds, or other cannabis products directly, face-to-face, with no money exchanged.

What can I swap?

You can swap just about anything cannabis-related, including: Flower and different strains, Seeds and clones. Concentrates, Kief, Hashish, (bubble-hash), Shatter. CBD products, Tinctures and topicals (creams, lotions, balms) Basically, everything cannabis — as long as it’s legal to possess and swap in your state.

Is SWAP POT free to use?

Yes! 100% free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs. It’s all about the community and the good vibes

How does swapping work?

It’s super simple: Sign up, confirm you’re 21+, upload your ID and selfie holding the same ID and agree to our terms. Browse or post listings in an allowed (legal) state. Propose a fair swap — no cash, no shipping, just a hand-to-hand swap. Meet up safely.

Do I have to meet in person?

Yes — SWAP POT is all about face-to-face, hand-to-hand, no shipping... just swapping. Keep it local and personal.

How do I find people nearby?

Once you’re signed up, you can browse or search for members that share similar interests as you. It’s kind of like a cannabis-friendly Meetup or Tinder for buddies.

Why did you create SWAP POT?

I created SWAP POT because it’s a passion. I wanted a place where people could swap pot, share stories, and connect without the noise of ads or the pressure of money.

Like in The Sound of Silence, the world’s gotten a little too quiet. It’s time to bring back real conversation and community.

What are examples of a swap?

A “swap” is just a friendly trade between members — no cash, no selling, just sharing what you have for something new you’d like to try. Here are a few examples of how people might post their swaps:

“I have an eighth of some Skunk — would like to trade for some Bubble Gum. Will consider other strains. Send me a message, let’s chat!”

“I’ve got some feminized Pineapple Express seeds, looking to swap for Bruce Banner.”

“I have some Purple Kush clones and would like to trade for Blue Dream — open to other strains too.”

“I’ve got an unopened pack of gummies — would love to swap for a chocolate edible.”

Each swap is about, not selling, and always face-to-face — just like swapping collectibles or homegrown goods with friends.

How do I stay safe while swapping?

Meet in a safe well-lit place during the day. Taking someone with you and having your phone ready. Always verify who you’re meeting. Never exchange cash — only swap. Follow local laws and common sense.

How do you strengthen saftey and prevent minors from signing up?

SWAP POT is a community platform built on trust. Because members are swapping cannabis-related items and meeting face-to-face, it’s extremely important that everyone is 21 or older, real, and verified.

To keep the community legal and safe, we require:

A photo of your government-issued ID or drivers license

A selfie of you holding that same ID (drivers license)

This protects all members, prevents fake accounts, and ensures that only verified adults can use the platform. This process is not for surveillance — it’s simply to confirm age and identity so everyone can safely enjoy swapping, meeting, and building connections.

TIP: To avoid delays in your approval:

Make sure your ID is fully visible (no fingers covering information)

Make sure your face is clearly visible

Ensure the ID in your hand matches the ID photo you uploaded

Use good lighting and avoid blurry photos

Once approved, you can immediately start browsing listings, proposing swaps, and connecting with other cannabis-friendly members in your state.

Is SWAP POT legal?

SWAP POT operates only in states where cannabis is legal for medical or adult use. Each member is responsible for following their local laws. SWAP POT doesn’t facilitate transactions — it’s simply a platform for connection.

And we require: A photo of your government-issued ID or drivers license and a selfie of you holding that same ID (drivers license)

This protects all members, prevents fake accounts, and ensures that only verified adults can use the platform.
